Board title says "non metal bands" so I figure out posting bands that makes you sing their songs while walking alone, taking a shower, riding the jeep, having your phone snatch, fucking your girlfriend, whatever you do, singing those chorus of mainstream bands you hate were unavoidable and unconsciously done.

Not really from a band but I always hear this on the bus going to work... Talk about the peril of a commuter...

Hahaha! At least it's not one of those annoying bus missionaries singing: "alive alive alive forever more, my jesus is alive alive forever mooooorrrree!" while sticking a can in your face asking for a donation. O! KATAWAN!!!"

The Itchyworms, definitely. Honest, non-showband local pop rock doesn't get much better than that. They've got a bunch of really good compositions on their last album and are amazing as a band.
I've had the privilege of doing some events gigs (you know, weddings, dinner functions, etc) with their drummer Jazz Nicolas on keyboards and he's one of those rare dudes who seem to know every 50s-90s pop song you can think of and can transpose the fucking keys on the spot, in his head. While singing.

Almost anything from the Manila Sound genre; The Hotdogs "Manila", VST and Company "Rock Baby Rock", The Boyfriends "Sumayaw, Sumunod", Cinderella "Ang Boyfriend Kong Baduy" just to name a few.

The evil black/grind band CUESHE has catchy-as-hell choruses. It's amazing how almost every song from their album becomes a hit. My favorite song is the one that has a chorus ripped off from Silverchair's "The Greatest View"

Paborito kong album ng E-heads "Circus"
Ang badtrip nun eh, about the same time, Lenny Kravitz came out with an album bearing the same name
