Here are a couple of photos I took from the gig. My gig camera is dead so I just used my iPhone to take photos so pardon the image quality.
It was a last minute decision to go to the gig as I'm working 'til 8:30 PM. Fortunately, it was not busy so I asked my co-worker to cover for me and I got to leave at 8:00PM. I took a cab and went straight to the venue and arrived 15 minutes later. There is no opener and Grave was already playing their third song when I got in. The turnout is what you would expect from a typical Singapore gig. I think there is approximately a hundred plus people. The venue is just right for a Death Metal gig. I think it's half the size of the venue of the last Rural Carnage. I was not able to take note of the set list, but they mostly played old songs and a couple from "Endless Procession Of Souls" and it was my first time to hear it and I liked it. It's got a thrashy feel. They were heavy as fuck and I banged my head like a motherfucker during "Hating Life", "Into The Grave", "Morbid Way To Die" and "You'll Never See..." I didn't stay to meet the band as I'm working early the next day so I just went to the merch table and bought a tour shirt then left. I wanted to buy the new record, but they are sold out. Then on the way to the lift, I saw Adrian from Dreams Of Consciousness so we bought something to drink at a convenience store and talked Metal in the pavement while finishing our drinks then we headed to the train station and called it a night. I had a fucking blast. It was my second time to see Grave live and they were definitely sicker this time. Nothing compares to the feeling of seeing one of the bands that you grew up listening to play live. I never imagined I'd be given this opportunity. Hail Satan!
