Internal Bleeding will be featured again in the pages of In Dark Purity...
IDP: Do you think these new songs represent what Internal Bleeding is all about? I mean no offense. I'm a diehard fan and I asked because I honestly think that "Onward To Mecca" is not Internal Bleeding. It sounds like a hardcore record than death metal to me. There are killer slam riffs here and there, but I feel that Internal Bleeding died on that record and I was totally disappointed. Sorry, I had to vent that out.
Chris Pervelis: Well, let me say right off the bat that I agree with you about Onward to Mecca. It's one of the many reasons I packed it up and left at the time. I just never really felt it. I wrote a bunch of riffs on that album, but overall I was not pleased with it. I think we just lost a bit of our direction and we all weren't in sync with each other.
