I moved out of my Parent's home for quite sometime now,,and I am currently renting this shitty hellhole of a hovel,,there is not enough space for my metal needs,,so I'm calling the attention of some experts to help me out..
1. How do you store your cds, without compromising accessibility( I meant not locked up in some chest or something) and still keep them in good form? pictures would be very much appreciated.
2. How/Where do you store your shirts? ( I noticed some of my rarely/unworn shirts have some white spots, like "moulds" parang pinunasan ng...heheh)
3. How do you maintain the quality of your shirts ( laundry/iron/drying/soap/folded/hung etc.)?
thanks in advance!

Buy some boxes at the grocery store, cut them to the height of the CD, spine at the top (about 14 centimeters), wrap the box with duct tape or packing tape (sides with a slight overlap at the lids, and bottom) and you have yourself a DIY CD storage. You can stack them up, as long as your boxes have the same dimensions. If there's an extra space, the cut piece of the carton, wrapped with tape could serve as filler to prevent the CD's from moving.

Storage. The dilemma of a metalhead on the move! Ha!
I will take a photo of my current set up here in Singapore and hopefully, it will give you an idea on how to store your swag. My old room back home literally looks like a record store with a bed and it was perfect! I'm only renting a condo here in Singapore and I do not have a lot of space for my swag and of course I'm with my wife. Needless to say, I can't turn our entire room into Berdugo Records!

This is the corner of our room where I keep my swag. It's just a book shelf and I just bought storage boxes in different sizes.

I store my shirts folded in drawers and plastic containers (It's at the store room right now and I can't take a photo of it, hehehe) Don't use hangers. Hand wash them using liquid soap for dark colors. Air dry. This is the oldest shirt I have with me in Singapore. This shirt is sixteen years old, but it looks good as new. Thanks to the dark liquid soap. ;D

My swag are in boxes and baskets since I have limited space here. I wish I could have taken a photo of my old room before I got married.

...I used to do the diy carton boxes/shoe boxes for up until we moved to my new location right now...the last storm that went by erased that option for me since a good portion of my stuff got really soiled by the flood (knee-high)...now those that got moist sits on top shelves and drying for a good two week...the ikea stack looks really good for wax but I think a carpenter can do just a better job at it...no shit on the living room floor for me...
...and the shirts...just buy a bag of alkampor which usually cost beinte to fix the moulding issue...thats what I do...

Good to know there's a thread about this... useful information, I'd say.
I also have some plastic containers that I use to store my cd's.... which reminds me, I need to buy a new batch for the recent cd's I have lying around right now.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I built my own shelves back home, but in Singapore, raw material are ridiculously expensive and you can't DIY things here unless you have a building permit. I can't even drill holes to hang shit, hahaha! Damn, sorry to hear about the flood. My old man told me that I have one box that got Ondoyed, hahaha! I didn't even bother to ask which box, I couldn't do anything about it anyways. *Sigh*

I've experienced storage problems a lot of times already especially if your space is very limited. The only solution to this is proper set up and arrangements. ______________ sell online
