Ripped off from Tower Records, hahaha!
I have not listened to metal for more than a week now. I have been extremely busy with my personal shit. Is this good or bad? Hehehe...
How long have you lasted without listening to metal?

It used to be that i listened to metal regularly during my daily 1 hour commute to work. but now, my workplace is just a half kilometer away from where i live so walking to and from the office everyday has become the norm. . On the other hand, i cant listen to extreme metal while working, cause the type of shit i do tends to require my full concentration [at the same time, i also prefer to listen to metal without paying attention to other things too much]. So, there have been times where i go without listening death metal, grind, etc.. for a week or so. I do tend to catch my self humming some riffs and melodies here and there.

So, there have been times where i go without listening death metal, grind, etc.. for a week or so. I do tend to catch my self humming some riffs and melodies here and there. Man, how I wish I could walk to go to work. Well, I can, but it would take me hours, hehehe... I may have moved a train station closer to my job, but my new location is still in the sticks. The positive thing is that I have more time to listen to metal while commuting. It takes me an hour and a half by train and bus, then about a ten minute walk to reach the office, and I could listen to metal without worrying about getting robbed in transit, hehehe... In my fast paced life here, I treasure commuting to and from work, as I really do not have enough quality time spent listening to metal these days. When I say quality time, I mean I'm not doing anything else but listening to a record, which is usually on Fridays when I'm off work and when I'm done with all my chores. The only thing I don't like about listening to metal while commuting is that I couldn't do air instruments, hehehe, but sometimes I couldn't help but throw air blast beats and air down picking here and there, hehehe...

I don't get to listen to music, much less metal, as much as I'd like to. Been busy with work, so when I get home I'm tired that I'd go to sleep instead of listen to music (even when it's hot and I can't sleep well). Even when I get the chance to listen to music in my computer or cellphone at work, same as Batdog most of my work still needs much of my concentration, so I eventually stop listening because I don't get to enjoy it that well.
Same as IDP I only get to listen to music during my free time off works (which is on weekends), but then again there are things at home I still need to do so my listening time is still limited.

The longest time I remember I spent without listening to music is one week when I went on vacation in Ormoc and Cebu a couple of years back. I didn't have an iPod or mp3 player with me.
I get to listen to music on my way to/from work since I drive my car. I make it a point to bring one CD that I'll listen to for that particular trip since it's a relatively short drive to my work place. At work, I don't listen to music that often. During the times that I do, it's usually when I'm trying to finish a deliverable. I feel like that I get to finish things faster when I listen to music.
