Hahaha the emilinatroll - I like the sound of that! Is that the gig with Anthrax or something? Don't think I'm coming, as:
1. I never liked Anthrax
2. I never liked Death Angel

You LIKE both Anthrax and Death Angel!? (explosive laughter) I dont like Anthrax with Belladona's vox on it. just dont think his style is aggressive enough to go along with the music. not really sure [personal taste, what can you do?] Probably the same reason i cant stand the vocals on Vio-Lence and Dark Angel. I prefer melodic thrash vocals that sound a bit more sinister. But then again i totally dig Nuclear Assault. Go figure.

And I fucking LOVE Vio-lence. The vocals fit just fine for me. And besides, just mentally block out the vocals and you'll be treated to some catchy, high-energy thrash. As for Dark Angel, Ron Rinehart isn't that special with his melodic singing. At first, you're like "Yeah, this is kinda cool", then its a struggle to stay awake because of his one-dimensional singing. This is very evident in "Time Does Not Heal". Death Angel lost it on "Frolic through the Park". It's like they were desperately trying to incorporate other genres they enjoy into their thrash cauldron and the whole thing couldn't be more inconsistent. "Shores of Sin" is messy as fuck! Somehow, they got the whole "thrash with other elements" schtick right on "Act III".
