Timeless music indeed and very essential . In my case there's no album of Bathory or even Quorthon's 2 solo albums that has failed me it may not be mind blowing but its still very gratifying.

The last Bathory related shit I got was the "A Tribute From The Hordes To Bathory" DLP that features Kratornas. Killer shit.

My only exposure to Bathory is through The Crown's cover of "Burnin' Leather" from a Swedish compilation tape I bought in a hole-in-the-wall record store here 6 or 7 years ago (good times!). I thought the cover was awesome, though I've yet to hear the original. I need Bathory records to round out my collection of classics from the Black Metal Holy Trinity (Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer/Celtic Frost). I already have the other bands covered.
