I don't watch a lot of TV, I guess most of us don't, but after I quit my job and my body clock is still fucked from working graveyard shifts for years, I couldn't sleep at night. Reading, watching CNN, movies, and TV series helped me kill time.
The ones I got to check out was "Heroes", "Lost", and "My Name Is Earl." I enjoyed "My Name Is Earl" the most. It's a comedy series that stars Jason Lee. If you are into skateboarding you'd be familiar with him. He plays a slacker bigotecore that tries to turn his life around by making a list of all the wrong things he did and correcting it and believing it'll give him good karma. Hehehe...

The last series I watched religiously was Glee. (No downloads, if I couldn't watch the regular airing, there would always be a re-run within the week) Its about a high school Spanish teacher leading a band of social rejects to form a show choir. Love the way they do mash-up of popular tunes. Another series you might want to look into is Firefly. Great Sci-fi, interesting characters and a good story line. Most of the technology featured is not over the top cause it focuses on a group of bandits who chose not to be under government control.

Glee hell yes, are they airing the 2nd season now? Heroes was awesome but didn't bother watching after season 2. Lost, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, American Dad (because of Francine haha) Miami Ink & most of the cooking shows on Discovery i always check out if I catch them on TV

I was able to sit through with 'Heroes' until the end of the 4th season. Yeah, Season 3 didn't do much for me. I'm glad Season 4 was able to pick up a bit though.
Another TV show I also follow is 'Psych', about a guy trained during his childhood by his dad to be a cop but grew up to be a slacker, then one day decides to put his training to good use by pretending to be a psychic and helping the police department. I got intrigued by the concept at first, but admittedly am getting a little tired with the current episodes.
I just checked out 'Chuck' (about an techy working at a Buy More that incidentally gets secret government files 'downloaded' to his brain and is protected by agents) and I kinda like it....for the most part because of the lady agent played by Yvonne Strahovski (I hope I spelled it right).
'House' is cool too, though I haven't followed the show that much. And yes, it's cool to hear renditions of songs in 'Glee'.

Glee hell yes, are they airing the 2nd season now? It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The next season doesn't air until April of this year dude, I know it sucks but hopefully its gonna be worth the wait. They say Rachel has a new love interest and I'm waiting for the return of Sue Sylvester, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!" Favorite ko doon sa "It's always..." yung episodes na involving yung Day Man na character.

I'm an avid fan of LOST! It's on its final season right now and for those people who follow it, are anticipating to finally get the answers to the island's mysteries. I'm so addicted to this series that I still religiously watch the reruns of AXN Beyond daily.
I recently discovered FRINGE. It's from the same creator of Lost (JJ Abrams) and a lot of people dismiss it as an X-Files rip-off. Though there are similarities (ex. filler 'Monster-of-the-Week' episodes), Fringe doesn't deal with aliens and is more uhm, scientific? It's still a great series though.
I also finally got to appreciate DEXTER, the series about a guy who's a CSI/blood-splatter expert by day and a serial killer of criminals by night. I finished the season 3 marathon from Fox Crime and I'm waiting for Maxx to show Season 1.
I'm also beginning to appreciate 24 and Chuck and I hope to watch more of How I Met Your Mother. I got tired of Heroes after Season 2 and Prison Break used to be a favorite of mine until it jumped the shark in Season 3.

stopped following shows after the mexican telenovelas started infiltrating local airtime and pushed the afternoon kiddie cartoons to the side. i think local network programing started turning crap when all the studios stopped making movies and started investing on tv shows.
cable tv was fun for a time but then i just got tired of it all and decided to just sell my tv instead [thus earning me a 69 point level up on the kvltness scale]

I got to see a couple of episodes of "Fringe" and the monsters were fucking wicked! Yeah, from the episodes I've seen, the monsters were results of experiments gone wrong. It shows here real late though.

Looking forward to seeing Andi Eigenmann in Agua Bendita kaso di pa siya nagpapakita eh.

There was "Cliffhangers" on Channel 7, and as the name suggests it always ends as if someone is gonna die or something. It had three stories, one is about a murder mystery, the other cowboys vs. aliens, then Dracula. Then there was V. Aliens who seem look just like us but turned out to be reptiles who want us for food.

Vietnam war tapos yung theme song nya Paint it Black.

www.imdb.com/title/tt0995832/Recently finished watching Generation Kill. Its a 7 episode HBO mini series based on the book with the same title written by a reporter for Rolling Stone/Hustler embedded with US marines during the early stages of the 2003 Iraq invasion. The series feels more like a full-on movie and is regarded by many as some of the most accurate representations of present day grunts ever put to film. I was actually introduced to this mini series after reading a lot of negative reviews for recent academy award best picture winner The Hurt Locker which complained about the large amount of factual errors in that movie.
