   I was able to make a last minute decision to attend the gig. I left work early and headed straight to the venue and arrived on time. Their set consisted of a good mix of old and new songs and three covers (Dead Kennedys, Siege, I can't remember the other one) that lasted for about an hour and a half (I think). They were intense and tight as fuck! "Suffer The Children" and "The World Keeps Turning" totally destroyed me. It's just killer to see one of the bands that got me into this lifestyle. Respect. |

Nung elementary kami nung mga nuclear punishment boys... nakapulot si jan jan ng tape na "from enslavement to obliteration" lagi naming pinapakinggan pero di namin maintindihan e... sinubukan pa nga namin ibak mask kasi sabi sa tv may mga sinasabi daw yung mga records na metal pag binaliktad mo...well, wala naman e. oviously we loved it!!! fave tracks would be "Your Achievement?" and "Dead" yun kasi yung mga naiintindihan namin nun e...hahahaha at that time those were the shortest songs we heard nung grade school kami.

Una ko yata nabili tape nila Harmony Corruption, then pabalik sa luma. Di ko lang maalala kung Scum o FETO. Basta merong vocal part sa simula na "You read maaaaaahhhynds!!!" basta ganun. Medyo nagtaka ko kasi markado ang pagkaiba ng style nila nun una na mas agrro kumpara sa Harmony na medyo kalkulado.
Sumunod lumabas na nga rin tape ng Utopia Banished. Excited ko binili sa Odyssey sa Harrison Plaza. Taka ko sa intro na crowd noise tapos unang banat pa lang live performance yun tumugtog tapos kaboses ni Freddy Mercury yun nakanta. Gang bumanat na nga ng familiar na mga kanta ng Queen! Putsa iba yung mismong tape na nkalagay sa cartridge. Kinabukasan soli agad. Buset!

Yep, unang track to sa FETO. Same feeling I had when I heard this one after 'Utopia Banished'. Naalala ko nung una kong napakinggan to (borrowed a Recto-made tape from an old friend), "Tangina, ano to? Ang gulo!"
Pagkaalala ko mas naunang nilabas sa record bars dito ang 'Utopia' kesa 'Harmony'. Naalala ko kasi parang halos magkasabay nilabas dito ang 'Harmony', 'Scum' at 'FETO', meron nang 'Utopia' at that time. I may be wrong though. Either way, mas madalas ko pinakinggan dati ang 'Harmony' at 'Utopia' compared sa mga nauna nila.

Baka nga nagkataon lang na una ko nakita ang Harmony kesa Utopia. Although, sa Certified Death ko sila una narinig. Same thing sa Benediction. Yung Grand Leveller una ko nabili pero ang nasa Certified e Experimental Stage? [Subconscious Terror]

Yung 'Upward and Uninterested' dun ang nang-engganyo sa akin bumili ng 'Utopia Banished'. Yep, Experimental Stage. Yung version sa 'Dark Is The Season' EP ata yung nasa Certified Death. |

May nangyare narin sakin na ganyan iba laman ng cartridge pinatogtog pa nila para malaman kung totoo talagang iba ang laman kung d ako nagkakamale Metallica na Jump in the Fire na ep na tape tapos laman parang Diane Warwick soli agad. |
