I was like WTF? DF in Manila and no one in the UG knows about it, but Dennis Trillo of all people knows shit? Obviously, a hoax. I admit though that I sent a message though their myspace to ask about it. LOL End Of Man and Powertools were the openers but JC from EOM was asking me about it as well. LOL That was some trip.

Onga kalbuhin mo lang yun tao si Brus Dilis na yan. First DF cover in a long time that doesnt look "t-shirt ready".
I'd be surprised if they dont get included in MDF 2010.

Hilarious ending. Parang may biglang humila kay John Gallagher. ;D edit: I just noticed how old school sounding the beginning of the song was. [Minus the vocals and modern drumming] its like something that could be from Sepultura's Arise. Only changing at around 1:25 which itself is a breakdown of the previous riff. Another thing is the progression. Seems like very few parts are repeated.

Even though they're close to being trendy, I still dig them. every band mentioned here is trendy, in fact if the kvlter does not know the band a simple google/download will suffice THEN he shall proclaimed it trendy..

I wasn't able to take pics, pero ang gwapo pala ni Dennis Trillo sa personal lol.
Seriously (taking a cue from mr. IDP), Dying Fetus' set was awesome! I don't remember the setlist, but they played a lot from their old albums. The turnout was decent considering it was a weeknight and it was a day short of payday, but it was great to see the pit moving during Fetus' set (even Dennis Trillo joined the fray, at least during the time I was watching the pit hehe).
It was also nice to see Madtyrant, Mr. Insane Bazooka, and Dixiewhiskey, as well as meeting Mr. Maliboglent, at the gig.

The gig was great. I'm not that familiar with the entire catalog of DF but based from the members' song introductions, they performed songs from as far back as their 'Purification Through Violence' album. DF really played their guts out and it seemed that their intensity was effortless. They opened with 'Praise The Lord (Opium Of The Masses)' which immediately made everyone go into a frenzy. The crowd really enjoyed every moment of DF's set from the fast, grindy parts to the slow, breakdown sections. The circle pit that ensued was one of the most vicious I've seen.
Also, Dennis Trillo was in the audience! According to Eltorrente, he was slamming and participating in the circle pit.
I don't have much pics as I only took a few from my cellphone cam. I didn't have time to upload it to my laptop yet.

How long was their set? Did they bring their own merchandise? Their set was probably one and half hours long, not too sure though. I'm not sure if the shirts that were sold at the venue were from the band. But I'm betting it isn't. The XL shirt was too small for my sexy body. But it looks like I'm going to be able to trade it.

That's quite a long set. Hey, if its not too much trouble, can you take a picture of the shirt? I'm interested to see the design.

The show is brutal as fuck. seeing John Gallagher in person is way too much for my expectation. their setlist is a mix of old and new DF.they even played Raped on the altar. the crown got wild when the played One shot, one kill, the crowd went nuts and created a circle pit. I have their almost full set on video.i'll upload it by this coming weekend. got to see some familiar faces.
