Back on topic. I received my copy today. Perfect timing as I have another gout attack and I have time to read and listen to music.

^ How was it? im a bit dissapointed with it. Really? Why? If there is one thing that I'm disappointed about is the shipping as it costs the same as the item. Hehehe... It's the usual Slayer, and I'm not expecting it to be any different from the past issues, though I may only have 3-4 copies of it if memory serves. I loved how it was presented. "An Ending In Flames" indeed. How I wish I have the budget to present my zine like this one. How I wish I could win the lottery jackpot. Swerte lang ako sa pag ibig at hindi sa sugal. LOL

LOL I was dissapointed for the fact that there were a lot of stuff there that Metallion didnt wrote and was contributed by other writers/artist (considering one of the featured interviews was already printed on another recent published zine). In regards with the packaging and all ,well NWN has that covered for YK really invested a lot in its production at the end of the day its ok.

Ah, the contributions. I see where you are coming from. I myself do not like contributions that much in my own zine, hehehe... As I think that it takes out the zine's personality, hehehe...

Slayer zine is a monumental publication i wouldnt be suprised if this sells out fast considering NWN backing it up, in regards with Morbid hehehe i doubt if all people really do care about morbid i think for a chosen few. In this day and age of downloading and all im really happy that a lot of people either young or old are buying records or cd's and even zines even thou they just flaunt it for street cred i mean if they can afford it why not the only thing i care about is that i have money to buy for my own copy of the stuff i like and labels arent hesitant to release stuff either bootleg or legit.

I want to get rid of the Morbid EP if you ask me, but since it's part of the zine, I guess I have to deal with it, hahaha! It's good that people are still buying music and everything related to it in physical format. It's the greatest form of support one can give to a band. I could go on and on, but I'll just reserve it for my zine, which is in the works for the nth time, hahaha! What do you like most about Slayer XX? I like the Grotesque interview the most but it wasn't done by Metalion. LOL

For me it was the Morbid EP that really made it special ill pay money for that alone (hey man if you want ill buy the Ep from you if you want to dispose it hehehe) considering it came from Metallions vault of jems its a must have recording hehe.
In my opinion the resurgence of the vinyl market is a good start i mean its a strong format and its very visually stimulating. One of the first lp's i owned was Pestilence's testimony of the ancients i mean by just looking at the fucking artwork made by seagrave was priceless.

Yeah, I wish there was an alternate cover, hehehe... Arnie would have been a better representation of this compiled work, but then again...

Nasa target list ko yang Slayer mag anthology. I wonder if it will be even thicker/heavier than Swedish Death Metal. I just got that book 3 weeks ago and they weren't kidding, it was HEBIGAT as fuck! Pero sulit talaga.

I'll check it out. Yeah, I bought SDM. It's a good read, imo. I'm on a book spree right now. I love reading and I also love metal so mixing the two is like peanut butter & jelly. Bazillion Points has a lot of books I wish to check out. They have a book about the 80's Bay Area thrash scene coming out this fall. I'm very excited about that one. Dunno about the "bestialz" and "brootuhlz" of this here board though lol..
